Hickory & Spice BBQ is a family-owned barbecue restaurant proudly rooted in Orange, CA. What started as a backyard passion for low-and-slow cooking grew into a full-blown pit operation serving Orange County’s most devoted BBQ fans. Hickory and Spice BBQ is the passion project of pitmaster Rick Mysse—a seasoned competitor with over 300 trophies earned in just four years. From multiple grand championships to perfect competition scores, Rick has proven time and again that his barbecue stands among the very best in the country.
Ready to trade the competition stage for the community table, Rick is now cooking his award-winning BBQ at the newly opened Hickory and Spice location at the corner of Tustin Ave. and Meats in Orange, CA. We’re open Thursday through Sunday—and yes, some items do sell out, so come early and come hungry.
